Founded in 2015, SKA Robotics creates robots that enhance human potential by taking on the jobs people can't, shouldn't, or don't want to do.
Our dedicated engineers and innovators tackle complex challenges where traditional solutions fall short. From maintaining massive generators to automating hazardous mining operations, we develop technology that makes dangerous work safer, tedious work more efficient, and otherwise impossible tasks possible.

Brian Beyer
COFOUNDER & CEO, HELLBENDER
A former USMC active-duty NCO and ARNG infantryman, Brian founded Hellbender to offer dependable, faster, and cost-effective engineering and manufacturing services in the U.S. for AI-enabled IOT and robotics companies. Prior to founding Hellbender, he spent a decade at Carnegie Robotics, most recently as Chief Product Officer, where he oversaw the development of a range of defense and commercial products over the years, including a $24M contract for a semi-autonomous landmine and IED-detection robot.

Kristin Staunton has 20+ years of experience leading people functions across industries including technology, marketing and finance. Kristin has advised startups across the nation on how to scale and hire top talent, and recently returned to her roots in Pittsburgh, where she is Deeplocal's Chief Operating Officer. Ten years ago, Kristin helped Deeplocal grow from a small startup to an internationally recognized brand that was acquired by WPP.

Reeg Allen is a seasoned, hands-on business leader with over 20 years of experience in transforming emerging ideas and new technologies into profitable hardware products and successful companies. He has extensive experience in business case development, technology commercialization, product conceptualization, product development, business development, IP management, business strategy, and strategic partnerships spanning many markets including aviation, military, energy (wind, solar and O&G), maritime, construction, and healthcare. Reeg played a critical role in growing and scaling RE2 Robotics, which was acquired in a $100M deal.

Louisa Michaels has over 11 years of experience in the robotics industry. Currently the Chief Financial Officer at the Advanced Robotics Manufacturing Institute, she rose through the ranks at Carnegie Robotics from bookkeeper to the Director of Finance and People. Louisa has deep expertise in monetization strategy, operations, and market analysis.

Stephen Raiola

A former national champion rower, Stephen is a versatile business litigator with 9+ years of legal experience. Relying on the intangible skills that made him thrive as a varsity athlete, Stephen has represented over a dozen Fortune 500 companies nationally in a wide range of litigation matters implicating hundreds of billions of dollars and has been recognized by his peers as a “rising star” of the appellate bar. In addition, Stephen has drawn on his broad range of litigation experience and his colleagues at one of the top boutique law firms in the country to not only assist companies with complex litigation matters that demand elite attorneys, but also to serve as an outside general counsel to assist companies in identifying and managing counsel to address various legal issues, including import and export controls, business negotiations, and intellectual property issues.
